About Zellner Services

Zellner Services was founded in 2018 by Cameron Zellner.

He was introduced to digitising photographic records when a friend wanted to convert their large collection of family slides into digital format.

Cameron loves to help people and volunteered to do the work. It combines Cameron’s passion for photography with his desire for meaningful work in his community.

Cameron and the business are supported by a small team of family, mentors and friends. Together they adopt best practice and innovative approaches to help him build an independent life.

Vision & Mission

Vision

Zellner Services is recognised and valued by the Canberra community, with customers who are proud to be associated with a social enterprise that fosters Cameron's self-worth and financial independence while providing a quality service.

Mission

For Zellner Services to:

  • provide Cameron with regular employment

  • provide a service to digitise photographic and paper records for customers who value his work

  • grow Cameron’s skills and competencies

  • engage Cameron in a role he enjoys with people that build his social connections.

Cameron’s Micro Enterprise

Zellner Services is a micro enterprise.
In the context of disability services, this is a person-centred small business built around the meaningful contribution one person can make to their community.
Unlike other emerging businesses, the vision of a micro enterprise does not include commercial expansion.

We measure success through strengthening existing customer relationships and reaching new community members. We measure business maturity through building Cameron’s capacity, his personal wellbeing and financial independence.

Zellner Services has a strong community focus and we hope to encourage other like-minded people to start a micro enterprise of their own.
